Create a Date Idea

Date ideas are your first point of contact on Cardinal. Sharing what you like to do is a great way to meet people who have similar interests.

Consider your ideal first date: a walk around the park, a wine tasting, a classic dinner and movie, or a relaxing night in with a board game. Only your imagination limits the possibilities.

When others see your date tile, keep in mind that your profile is hidden, so it's a completely judgement-free zone.

See who Liked Your Idea

We still feel that physical attraction plays a role in overall compatibility, but we treat it as a secondary step in the matching process to encourage users to take a chance and accept people for who they are.

Here you can see who likes your date idea! View their profile to learn about their interests, where they are from, and what makes them unique.

Profile

Matching with others can be done in two ways. The first method is to like profiles that are interested in your date idea. They will be able to see your profile in reference to the date and like you back to match.

The second method is to like other people’s date ideas. They will be able to see your profile in reference to their date and reciprocate by liking you. Then you can look at their profile and decide whether or not you want to match.

Date Tiles

This is where you can discover dates of interest to you that have been created by others. Whether you want to stick to what you know or branch out and try something new, there's something for everyone!

Messages

If you like their profile, it is their turn to look at yours. If they like you back, you've found a match!

It's time to make a move and send them a message. Introduce yourself and schedule your date!

Local Events

As more people in your area start using Cardinal, we'll reach out to community partners to promote local events and provide discounts and special offers to popular date spots.
